Bad puns aside, the bank was rocking last night! As part of the ongoing In The Artist’s Den series The Hold Steady played a private concert to an intimate NYC crowd last night. The purpose of the series is to put amazing artists into unusual venues, and last night’s performance in the historic Emigrant Savings Bank building (across from NY City Hall) was nothing short of outstanding! I recommend you visit the show’s website and sign up for the mailing list. They randomly select people to attend each taping from the RSVP’s via the website. To top it off…the whole evening was sponsored by Grey Goose vodka, which meant open bar!
